About The Artist -
Ana 'Vee' Valdez is a Chicano artist, tattooer, illustrator, writer and printmaker based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. They graduated with a BFA in illustration from California College of the Arts. Their work focuses on themes of queerness, mixed-race cultural heritage, religion, spirituality, the occult, witchcraft and food.

Vee is the founder of the Girls Who Eat zine project, an annual illustrated charity zine that celebrates food and the culture of food while challenging ideas surrounding disordered eating.
When they aren’t illustrating they go to metal shows, teach printmaking, ghostwrite weird sci-fi stuff, read tarot cards and look lovingly at the moon.
